Join gifted MIT musicians for a thrilling evening of music by 20th century composers whose works have stood the test of time. The MIT Wind Ensemble performs Copland's El Salón México, Shostakovich’s Folk Dances, Grainger’s Irish Tune from County Derry & Shepherd’s Hey, and Amis’ Legacy. The MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble presents music by iconic jazz composers such as Ellington, Mingus, and Jobim, among others, along with special guest vocalist Laura Grill Jaye and members of theMIT Vocal Jazz Ensemble.
