MIT Outing Club Winter School Safety Lecture

Curious to try skiing, winter hiking, or ice climbing? Already a seasoned adventurer? MIT Outing Club organizes single-day and overnight trips for winter hiking, XC ski, back-country ski, ice climbing, ice skating, and more.

Winter School is MIT Outing Club’s annual winter outdoors extravaganza, and our largest event of the year. Every weekend during IAP you will have the opportunity to get outdoors, learn new skills, meet new friends, and explore the wilderness in New England!

These are the introductory safety lectures of Winter School 2026 — attendance is mandatory to be able to join Winter School trips. Both lectures will take place on campus in room 26-100 from 7pm to 9pm.
